Is your tower attracting trespassers, thrill seekers, and urban explorers?
With the advent of social media, vertically challenging infrastructure has become a prized target for urban explorers and thrill seekers. These groups, in addition to subjects targeting communications and utility towers for terrorist activities, has placed a greater demand on site security.
As a security professional, the last thing you want is one of your towers featured in the latest thrill seeking viral video.
Tremor Tech offers several intrusion detection sensors in the tower tremor sensor line. This line of unique sensors has the ability to detect climbing and mechanical tampering to various types of steel utility and communication towers.
Typical interference such as utility line harmonic resonance and wind loading, are easily mitigated through the unique on-board programming at each sensor. Tower tremor sensors may be integrated to pre-existing site security systems, as well as transmit alerts notifying end users of unwanted trespassing activity. Self-contained battery packs allow years of maintenance free operation.
The TTech-TTS (Tower Tremor Sensor)
When attached to structures such as towers, support beams, fencing, stairways and drainage grates, the TTS will provide continuous passive intrusion detection monitoring until activated by a set vibration pattern matching that of subjects climbing or tampering with material.
The on board TTS programming allows the end user to quickly customize a sensor parameter for each location. Common contact closures can be utilized and interfaced with any third party device. Commonly attached devices include cameras, transmitters, lights and independent security systems.
The TTech-WTTS (Wireless Tower Tremor Sensor)
The TTech-WTTS is a wireless version of the TTech-TTS tower tremor sensor. This tower tremor sensor does not require an external transmitter. An encrypted long range transmitter embedded within this sensor, will transmit signals directly to repeaters or to zone alert enunciator panels or Tremor Tract mapping software.
Custom programming specifications are available, dependent upon final installation applications. Tremor Tech will be pleased to work with you to find the best set of programs for your specific deployment environment.
The TTech-81-CCK and 2CCK have been designed as a quick deploy, with photo and video confirmation of detected targets.
The TTech-S1 & S2 Footstep Detection Sensor is specifically designed to detect the footsteps of subjects approaching or walking in restricted areas.
