The Fence Tremor Sensor (FTS) has been designed to detect intrusions on and through metal structures such as border fencing materials. When attached to structures such as towers, support beams, fencing, stairways and drainage grates, the FTS will provide continuous passive intrusion detection monitoring until activated by a set vibration pattern matching that of subjects climbing or attacking fence material.
Once activity is detected, the FTS will analyze the tremor vibrations and sounds generated by an attack on the fence material. If the intrusion activity matches the pattern programmed into the FTS sensor, an alert will be sent via the interfacing patch cable and attached communication device, such as a IRIS Transmitter.
The onboard FTS programming allows the end user to quickly customize the sensor parameter for each location. Common contact closures can be utilized and interfaced with any third party device. Commonly attached devices include cameras, transmitters, lights and independent security systems.
Powered by an internal AA battery pack, the FTS will operate for over two (2) years without the need of additional batteries, depending upon overall activations. With automatic wind detection and mitigation filtering, the FTS will automatically detect the presence of active wind conditions and filter away the wind vibrations while still looking for intrusion activity.
Custom programming specifications are available dependent upon final installation applications. Tremor Tech will be pleased to work with you to find the best set of programs for your specific deployment environment.
The TTech-17W is a wireless version of the TTech-17 Fence Tremor Sensor. This fence tremor sensor does not require an external transmitter. An encrypted long-range transmitter embedded within this sensor will transmit signals directly to repeaters or directly to ZoneAlert annunciator panels or Tremor Tract mapping software.

Designed for use with the TTech-17 Fence Tremor Sensor and supported transmitters. This security housing has a sliding door allowing access to the enclosed TTech-17 sensor, transmitters and battery packs. The heavy duty housing may be welded directly to fencing structures or bolted in place. The included high security lock with programable combination, ensures limited access and protection in rugged environments.
The TTech-Field Tester was originally designed for use with the TTech-17 Fence Vibration Sensor. Now the Field Tester may be used with any of a number of TTech sensors. This quick feedback device sounds an alert and/or lights a red LED when the sensor it is attached to is activated. The Field Tester reduces alerts over network communications during set up and provides feedback for installers testing sensor ranges
The IRIS Data Transmitter may be connected to the TTech-S1 and S2. When triggered by the seismic sensor, the transmitter will relay that information back to the network allowing for quick location identification and type of trigger event.
The IRIS Camera may be used in conjunction with the IRIS Transmitter to provide a photo or video confirmation of triggered events. Activity triggered by fence, foot-step, and infrared sensors are sent to the IRIS Transmitter which triggers the IRIS camera(s).
The TTech-81-CCK and 2CCK have been designed as a quick deploy, with photo and video confirmation of detected targets.
The TTech-S1 & S2 Footstep Detection Sensor is specifically designed to detect the footsteps of subjects approaching or walking in restricted areas.
